Experience the magic of Washington DC night tours with our DC at Dusk tour! Discover iconic landmarks, monuments, and memorials beautifully illuminated at night! Book today for an unforgettable evening adventure!

Our popular night tour offers you the flexibility to choose between two types of luxury buses – closed-top bus: enjoy your tour in a climate-controlled, luxury closed-top bus, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the weather, and convertible bus: upgrade to our convertible tour bus for a unique sightseeing experience with an open-air view when weather permits, and a climate-controlled, glass-top roof for comfort during sudden weather changes.

Your guided DC night tour begins at the U.S. Navy Memorial at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW – halfway between the White House and the U.S. Capitol – and will bring you a unique and breathtaking look at our nation’s capital!

Take a trip to the twilight zone with this mesmerizing dusk city highlights tour. As night falls in the capital, all the most famous monuments are lit up, casting a glimmering glow over the city and offering countless photo opportunities. You’ll begin the tour at the U.S. Navy Memorial, before heading through the half-light to major attractions such as the White House, the Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.

You’ll find each one features special illuminations at night, with regular opportunities to hop off and see the spectacular sculpture work up close. The full shimmering skyline can be seen at the start and endpoint of your tour, which also includes views of the twinkling Tidal Basin and Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Washington, DC, night tours don’t get much more magical than this!

Please note that an upgrade option for this tour is conducted with a luxury glass-top or open-top convertible bus led by a driver/guide in one! In addition, convertible buses switch from open-tops to glass-tops between Oct 15 – Mar 15 due to colder temperatures.

Perfect for Families

Our tour and guide was amazing! We had so much fun and could not have asked for better service. We had a great time as a family and would love to do the tour again! - Hannah A.

Small group tour hits all the top spots

Highly recommend! The tour covered all the main sites with ample photo ops and stops to walk around the monuments. Small size tour and comfy mini van (open top in warmer seasons, glass top in colder ones). Our tour guide, Brittany, was friendly and well-informed. Good price for what you get, too. - JC

Awesome

Nick is the BEST tour guide! We loved it so much we did a day tour and a dusk tour both were awesome!

We took the Nighttime Tour of Monuments. Nick was a fabulous guide. I enjoyed how he shared his knowledge and humor with us. If only he was my Government and History teacher, I would have remembered more. Great tour!

We loved our tour with Dion (Tour Guide) + Curtis (Driver). Our group had the best time with them and many of us said that this is the best tour they ever had, hands down. Dion has genuine excitement and deep, deep knowledge about US history and all the sites. However, it was never boring because he has such an amazing personality and unique storytelling ability. It felt like a re-telling of US History that we have never heard before. Although it was a lot of walking, he kept us entertained and engaged and knew when to get the right photo. He is very talented at what he does and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Appreciate your hard work and enthusiasm!

FAQs

Why type of buses does USA Guided Tours use?

Our luxury tour buses provide a climate-controlled, comfortable environment and protection from the elements. Our diverse fleet, from SUVs to premium motor-coaches, caters to groups of all sizes, ensuring private tours can be customized for couples or large groups. For public tours, we limit bus capacity to maintain an intimate atmosphere. We strive to keep large same-party groups together, but seating is first-come, first-served and reserved for the tour duration once claimed.

Are we allowed to bring luggage on the tour?

Unfortunately, our shuttles are not wheelchair accessible, nor is there storage for baby strollers. If you have a wheelchair, please call us to make special vehicle arrangements for your tour. Some of our tours involve longer walks so if you like, you may stay on board the shuttle, near the landmark, without exiting the shuttle bus every time.

What is USA Guided Tours cancelation policy?

Free Cancellation up to 24 Hours in Advance > if you cancel your booking 24 hours in advance of your tour departure time – a full refund will be issued

Free Cancellation up to 1 Hour in Advance With Tour Booking Insurance > if you purchase Tour Booking Insurance at $5.99 per person, booking cancellations may be made up to 1 hour in advance of your tour departure time for a full refund
