Our tour guide, Alicia, was excellent. She gave us lots of information in a professional manner. Alicia introduced ideas and observations to enhance our experience. Calvin was an excellent coach driver. He had a fun banter with our fellow passengers, offered water to us every time we exited the bus. My husband was skeptical at first since it was a bus tour and I was worried we wouldn't get enough time at our stops, BUT it was great! I felt like there was a perfect amount of time to look and take pictures and even, when available, to stop at the gift shops. Our guide was informative and dependable. The complimentary water was great and we appreciated the access to free ponchos since it was a heavy sprinkle off an on during our tour. Took the Highlights tour today and in spite of rain, (tour provided rain ponchos) it was wonderful. Our guide Nona and driver Maggie made a great team. Nona had a wealth of information delivered with a keen sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour and if you get lucky, Nona and Maggie as your hosts!
This was a great tour with a great guide. We did this tour in the evening after we flew in. It was the perfect kick off to our first trip to DC. It gave us a good idea about how everything is laid out and helped us decide what to do with the rest our time.
Omg!! I highly recommend USA Guided Tours! My husband and I did the night time tour of DC and it was almost. Ed who was our driver, made sure that we stay hydrated and Alicia, who is the tour guide, was the hostess with mistress…lol! She was very informative, funny, and interactive! I love her spirit. When we come back to DC and do another tour, I only want Alicia and Ed!!!
