Board your glamourous, climate-controlled panoramic bus at the U.S. Navy Memorial for one of the best bus tours in Washington DC. Expanding on our popular Highlights Tour, this six-hour excursion also includes a lunch break and the opportunity to travel through the Tidal Basin.

Our signature day tour offers you the flexibility to choose between two types of luxury buses:

Closed-Top Bus: Enjoy your tour in a climate-controlled, luxury closed-top bus, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the weather.

Convertible Bus: Upgrade to our convertible tour bus for a unique sightseeing experience with an open-air view when weather permits, and a climate-controlled, glass-top roof for comfort during sudden weather changes.

Seasonal Note: Convertible buses switch from open-tops to glass-tops between October 15 and April 1 to accommodate colder temperatures.

Once you’ve learned about some of the most fascinating landmarks in the USA, including the White House, U.S. Capitol Building, and National Archives, you’ll get to see the breathtaking memorials of Thomas Jefferson and Franklin Roosevelt. After lunch, summer brings the opportunity for a boat ride through Georgetown and the DC Waterfront. The tour price includes a complimentary boat ride, and tourists will have the opportunity to purchase lunch at one of several waterfront restaurants in the summer. In winter, instead of the seasonal boat ride, this Washington bus tour culminates with a visit to the iconic Kennedy Center.

Please note that an upgrade option for this tour is conducted with a luxury glass-top or open-top convertible bus led by a driver/guide in one!

Great Experience

We had a wonderful tour with Joey! She was knowledgeable, engaged, funny, friendly and a terrific host. We highly recommend this tour. Our only regret is that we didn't have another day to spend in DC sightseeing! - Brittany W.

Great experience, especially in the rain!

Thoroughly enjoyed our you, Brittany and Marcus were great! It was raining off and on all day but we still had a great time, they were energetic and thoughtful and attentive all day and gave us great info and tips. The tour was well planned and efficiently run. I was so glad we didn’t have to walk in the rain or try and drive around ourselves in it. I was a DC native for a few years and I’ve walked these memorials in the past, I would say the bus is the only way to go and those luxury buses are much nicer than the trolley style. - Eric M

Excellent value

Did it on my first day in DC and gave me ideas on what to revisit or what other venues to go to. The guide Christopher was very knowledgeable and came over excellently. - Russell P.
